
Fartun Osman Hassan, is an agronomist and project management expert with over 20 years of experience in food security, climate resilience, and humanitarian programs in conflict-affected regions. Born in Somalia and now a swedish national, she holds a PhD in Agriculture and a Master’s in Project Management, Master’s in Banking & Finance. she has worked with UNDP, SWEDO, and FAO, leading as Somalia’s National Food Security Policy and the Center for Date Palm Research. A skilled lecturer and multilingual professional (English, Arabic, Somali, Swedish), she specializes in program design, risk management, and capacity building. Dr Fartun is a dynamic leader with a proven ability to deliver results in high-pressure environments. His work focuses on sustainable development, disaster response, and empowering vulnerable communities.
