Somalia faces many challenges including ongoing conflict, displacement and climate shocks. PASOS we take an integrated approach to recovery, resilience, and development to help communities restore livelihoods, rebuild infrastructure and achieve sustainable progress even in the most vulnerable areas.

We support displaced families, returnees, and vulnerable households by helping them regain economic stability. Our programs focus on restoring income generating activities such as farming, livestock rearing, small businesses, and vocational skills training. Through cash assistance and facilitating access to markets we empower communities to become self-reliant and rebuild their futures.

Recognizing the severe impact of climate change, PASOS implements climate smart project that help communities adapt to droughts, floods and environmental degradation. We promote sustainable water management and resilient farming techniques to protect food security and livelihoods for the long term.

Rehabilitating essential infrastructure is key to community recovery. PASOS works to restore water points, health centers, schools, community access roads and markets, improving access to vital services and promoting social cohesion. These projects create a foundation for lasting development and peace.

We also strengthen the capacities of local institutions, traditional leaders and community organizations by providing training and mentorship. This support enhances governance, transparency, and encourages inclusive participation in decision making processes.
