As the Board Secretary, he brings a strong background in organizational governance, program leadership, and ethical oversight, ensuring transparent decision-making and effective coordination between the Board and executive management. With over a decade of experience leading large-scale programs, Aiydarus has demonstrated exceptional ability in strategic planning, performance management, and resource optimization. During his tenure as Program Director at the Peace Action Society Organization for Somalia (PASOS), he successfully aligned organizational structures with strategic objectives, achieving up to 95% improvement in operational efficiency and securing over $40 million in funding from international partners, United Nation Agencies, Private Donors, International community. His leadership strengthened institutional systems, enhanced program delivery, and advanced the organization’s humanitarian and development goals. His multidisciplinary expertise spans project management, partnership development, and innovation in service delivery. Academically, he holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of the Philippines and a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB) from Benadir University.
